Arriving in Singapore 12/3/06. Had a great couple of days. Staying in an area called Little India, which is just that. On the first day did lots of walking and sightseeing. Went to Orchard Road, for a little look around the shops, but clothes were too tempting and had to leave. Starting to feel abit scruffy in my gear. Stopped by Raffles for a Singapore Sling, was good but not as good as Corkers. Jugs are on the standby as to not mix the drink each time. Day after went to Sentosa Island. Went up the Carlsberg Town, 130 metres high, great views over the island and Singapore. Then the beach was to tempting to resist, so had to have a little sunbathe and swim in the sea. Today have been looking around a few more shops had coffee by the river. I couldnt resist the temptation not to buy anything, so thought I would treat myself to a couple of tops. Founds weighing scales both lost about 1/2 stone, which is always a good thing. Love to you all and hope its stopped snowing for you.Mark and Ellie
