Hi folks, Thought I would send you a few lines from New Zealand, to let you know what a great time I'm having over here. Started off in Auckland, then travelled on to Rotorua, and Taupo. Drove along the edge of Lake Taupo, then headed off to Napier & Hastings, where I caught up with Bernard & Joan. Time was passing me by, so I left Hastings at 10pm and made it to Wellington in time for the ferry at 3am. Crossed over to Picton, and arrived there around 6:20am. (...

Spending a few days in Broome, W.A. at the moment. Staying with Leigh-ann & Rob at Palm Grove Tourist Park, and having a really good time. Have seen some fantastic sights up here, and surprised at the contrast between dry dirt tracks, and lush green foliage. After Sydney drive 100km West and arrived in the Blue Mountains, the scenary is breathtaking and a vast contrast to the city. Decided to save abit of money and are camping at a free site. We have to drive 10km down a dirt track to get to it. Its really secluded took abit of getting used to, but is beautiful. The national park have supplied wood and metal cylinders so we can have fires, which we have taken full advantage of as it gets really cold at night....

Arrived in Sydney a couple of days ago. Had a brief look round at the Opera House at Sydney Bridge. Said goodbye to Kev yesterday, we miss you already Kev, and slept in the airport as part of our backpacker experience. Picking up a Ford Falcon with tent and will then head to Bondi beach.

G'day everybody at home. We have covered some kilometers over the last few days have travelled from Townsville to current Noosa Heads. Have been averaging 500 km aday, but still enjoying the sights. Have been up to the rainforest spotting platypus at dusk. Visited a sancutary for Kangaroos, dingos, birds and emus. A friendly looking Wallaroo hopped up to us and we proceeded to feed him by hand.
