Had an amazing, exhausting and exhilerating time in Cambodia, have crammed alot into our ten days. From Siam Reap caught a boat to Battambang. Was supposed to take 5 hours and took 12 and they crammed us on so much at one point I was balancing on the side with my legs hanging off the boat. Then it looked like the boat was sinking and the boat men had to move all the rucksacks about to distribute the weight. Great views along the Mekong River. Stayed ...

Hi everybody, thank you for all your messages it is so great to hear from you all. finally arrived in Cambodia walked through a giant stone arch onto Cambodian soil. Met up with a great English couple who have been travelling for 2 years and shared a five hour taxi to Siam Reap. The roads are a nightmare dirt tracks with giant potholes so the car journey was interesting. Two currancys here which is hard to get your head round. Real culture shock here ...
