have just got back from 3 days of trekking in the jungle, it was brilliant. had 2 nights sleeping in a tribal village in their traditional styled huts. spent the whole day trekking but had plenty of stops next to waterfalls so we could cool down. our thai guides were chang/whisky drinking crazy people and entertained us at night by strumming badly on a guitar, round the camp fire, singing eric clapton and do a deer from sounds of music. we both enjoyed elepha...

Arrived in Chaing Mai today after two VERY long bus rides from Ko Samet & Bangkok! Had an amazing time on Ko Samet, which is a southern island. I lying it was actually quite stressful had to sunbathe, swim in the clear blue ocean, and drink beer in the evenings watching the sun set. 10 hours to get from there to Chaing Mai.
