We had a lovely sleep in until 11:30 this morning! Waking up to a beautiful
Sunny day! We got up and got ready for our day and went to the local markets! They are amazing! It's so vibrant and colourful! It's full of fresh produce, meat, fish, home made chocolate, nuts and fresh juices! To start it off we picked up a fresh juice each and deep fried fish balls on a skewer - they were delicious!! Also in the markets they have small bars with around 20 seats where you choose your food and they cook it all fresh in front of you! We walked around and found the best one and waited for about 10 minutes to get a seat. As soon as someone leaves you need to try and beat everyone else to the seats! Simon had baby octopus and I had their specialty - eggs and ham! The eggs were deep fried with prosciutto on top! Our meals were delicious. I love the food in Spain!! You can never go wrong! After lunch we set out to fund an internet cafe to print off our plane tickets. We did that as quickly as possible and went straight to the beach for a few hours. We slowly wandered home for a siesta and later that evening we went out for dinner. We went to a restaurant on Las Ramblas. The staff, service and atmosphere was 5/5! It was really nice! We had all you can eat tapas and chicken paella! Perfect way to end our last night in Spain! Simon order our drinks and out came the most enormous glass of coke I have ever seen!! It was probably a litre or more!! It did end up costing 12€! The most expensive drink of the whole trip! Ha ha :) After dinner we wandered back to our hotel stopping for some gelato! We needed a relatively early night. We fly to Greece tomorrow morning! :)
