I woke up feeling nice and refreshed
this morning! It was a beautiful sunny morning! We got up and got ready to go meet the others. We met at 11:30 and ventured up the mountain to the Olympic stadium! It was soooo hot!! We caught a cable cart 1/4 of the way because we were so hot and sweaty!! The stadium isn't as big as I thought it would be, the pool area was quite small! After we'd walked around we sat down for a refreshment. We caught the metro back to the bottom and picked up some lunch at a small bakery! The food was really nice! Judy always gets the most random drink combinations! When we're at dinner she'll order coke, wine and water! Ha ha. At lunch she got a redbull and then decided she'd get a massive can of beer! The man serving us thought it was quite funny! We went straight to the beach! The water was beautiful and it was so relaxing drying off in the sun! Judy and I got massages which was amazing! Simon asked us if he got a henna tattoo of a butterfly would we pay for it? Obviously we were all very quick to answer yes as he didn't realise they stay on for 2-3 weeks! I choose him a pretty butterfly and the man sat down and started drawing it and Simon started to freak out and panic and as soon as the man said it's ok they only last between 2-3 weeks Simon got up and ran away! Ha ha it was so funny! We almost had him the silly duffa! After a few hours of sun we went and had cocktails and tapas on the beach! It was the perfect end to the afternoon! After a while we all wandered back to our hotels to get ready for our bar crawl! Simon and I ended up having Mc Donalds for dinner - out of everything we could have had in Spain! Ha ha. We caught the metro out and met Judy and Lachy before
Walking to Matt and Tom's hostel! Matt told us it was 10€ for the bar crawl and we would pre drink in the bar. We got to the hostel and there was definitely no bar! But it did have an awesome roof top where you could relax! The boys went down to the corner store (where Matt got them lost!) and bought some drinks. Judy and I had sangria! :) After chilling out on the roof for a few hours we went down stairs and played a few games of pool! Matt had been coping it all night for the bar crawl mistake and getting the boys lost, but it did turn out to be 10€ for 2 hours of all you can drink mojitos, free transport in to town and free entry into the newest night club! It was amazing! Judy and I made friends with a group of girls from all over the world! There were girls from the UK, Canada, America and Cyprus! We all played drinking games before heading out! Judy and I made good friends with Deniz and Pink. They're from Cyprus - which i initially thought was a state in America! I Blame the TV show Greek! We spent most of the night together dancing and getting free drinks from the bar - no
idea how that happened but I was happy! I didn't spend a single cent the whole night! 4:30 rolled around and simon and I decided to call it a night! Staying on Las Ramblas was the best decision we made! We walked a few minutes up the road and we were at our hotel! :) On our way home Simon and I were mauled by transvestites!!! They fully grabbed us! We both freaked out and ran out of their grip! I instantly checked my bag to make sure I wasn't pick pocketed! At first Simon was ok, but then when it clicked he'd just been groped by a transvestite he got really angry! Ha ha ha it was so funny! They were doing it to everyone! Eventually we made it home and went straight to sleep. A big sleep in was definitely in order!
