30th April - We had an early morning flight from Dar Es Salaam to Nairobi. Despite the flight being nearly empty we were seated next to an elderly gentleman. We left Kendwa and our tour group in the morning to start our journey home. A bus took us to Stone Town, where we completed our souvenir shopping before catching the fast ferry back to Dar Es Salaam. We had a loose plan to go snorkelling today but waking to rain changed that very quickly. It turned into a lazy morning in bed followed by a walk on the beach to Nungwi.
