We were up early, as we were still adjusting to the new timezone, so watched the sunrise from Panzi's viewing platform. Our accommodation was at Cheetah Lodge, attached to De Wildt Cheetah centre. It had a very energetic (although 16yo dalmation) named Sebastian who we quickly befriended. This morning we did a tour of De Wildt which firstly involved watching the cheetah run. They can reach 120kmh but for the 2 runs that we saw, they weren't quite that speedy. Still impressive though. We arrived in Johanessburg in the afternoon on the 28th. We picked up our hire car, a VW polo and headed to our hotel for a big sleep in preparation for a big day.
