I got the chance to go camping with my grandsons.
We headed to Dwellingup just for the one night. The area has changed a lot since the last time I was down there. There are now a lot of day use areas and bookable caravan spots. I'm not sure it is an improvement but it is happening everywhere.
So our first arvo there Noah wanted to go on an adventure walk. We followed the creek down to the river and came back over a big mountain? We were hunting for bears but he wasn't sure what we were going to do with them if we found any? We did manage to spot a couple of Roos near our campsite when we got back. Unfortunately it was too cold to go for a swim.
They all slept in my caravan and luckily enough I slept in my car. I heard the boys during the night, I'm not sure if they were scared or uncomfortable. Then in the morning the garbo came and emptied the bins at 6 in the morning?? He was working and made sure everyone knew he was. Then the bloody kookaburras and maggies started up so we had an early morning. Bloody wildlife?
It didn't take long to pack up so we got away by mid morning and I was home by lunch time.
It was a great night and I'm looking forward to doing it again on Australia Day next year.
