Near Gingin and about an hour from Perth is a caravan park on a farm. It was not what I was expecting but a great place to get away all the same. There is not much to do but it is very relaxing. There is lots of bird life in the area and farm animals for the kids to look at and feed.
In the late afternoon all the animals come up for a feed and the kids get to hand feed them. We had a few quiet drinks and was great to catch up with friends again. The grey nomads, of course, had all the gear. I travelled light cos it was only one night and I wanted to try my new setup in the Zook.
The birds make sure you don't sleep in. Between the Kookaburra's and the Geese there was no chance of a sleep in.
