Only 2 days to go. I upgraded yesterday but there are no rooms today so back in tent for the last 2 nights.
We have had a tropical storm in the afternoon for the last 3 days. It was torrential today for about an hour but the rain hasn't really bothered us soo far.
Jinja is the source of the Nile. There is a spring where the Nile starts and it also flows out of Lake Victoria. It is the adrenalin capitol of Uganda. You can raft down the Nile, jet boat up the Nile and bungy into the Nile. I went to Golf. I had a great day with caddy. It was a hell of a walk to get there but still fun. After the walk there and 18 holes I was stuffed so I got a boda boda home and half way there he got a flat. When he tried to fix it it turned out his last puncture had let go so he had to get a new tube.
I upgraded last night into a safari tent and got everything sorted so I am good to go all the way to Nairobi. I wanted upgrade again tonight but they say they don't have the rooms.I went next door but it is $190 per night so I am back in tent tonight and tomorrow for my LAST NIGHT.
Late news.. I just scored a dorm bed and Im the only one in the dorm. TOP score.
I prolly wont post again till at least Nairobi in a coupla days

Ngaere Glad you at least got a warm shower and an upgrade. We had one of the cabins there. Do you stop anywhere before Nairobi - I am tracking you on a bigger map?
