When I got up this morning it was very dark and gloomy, but it has fined up to a nice day after all. Every day has been the same so far, dark and overcast in the morning and fines up by 10 it is T shirt weather. This morning instead of the bus I got a colectivo. That is a long wheel base Hi ace and they go when they are full. FULL. At 19 plus driver we were full, and the stinky kid and the bum would have been right at home. I was dry reaching by the time we got to Ollant. We dropped off and picked up along the way and at one stage we had 22 plus driver. We got to Ollant at 7.30 and the Plaza we buzzing with people. This is the start for the Inca trail and a lot of other Ínca trails´. A lot of guy on the colectivo with us were looking for work as porters. They come up here and line up and hope to get picked. This happens everyday of the year. I sat and watched the chaos for a while then went and found a room for the night at Chaski Wasi. It is a great little room and cheap so I will stay a night when I come back from Machu Picchu. I thought Pisac was a great location but Ollantaytambo is even better. Awsome. The word I keep thinking of is DRAMATIC. The mountains are amazing and the ruins are right there when you look over the buildings. I checked out the ruins on one side this morning, then had to have a bex and a lie down. Wait till you see them. I had Anticucho for lunch off the street again, fast becoming staple diet. This arvo I checked out the old part of town. They say it has been continually inhabited for 1300 years. Then the ruins on the other side but they are not as good so no pics cos I gotta download here and it is expensive here. Boy;; Check your emails I need more money. Transfer some ASAP.
