Havana is known for the cars they drive. There are lots of old American cars from before the revolution when America put an embargo on Cuba and they couldn't get parts for their cars. They have had to make do any way they could. Some of the old cars are done up beautifully but most are just boongers. They are now all colectivo taxis. CULTURE SHOCK The flight here was pretty uneventful and about what I expected. The airport here however is another thing. You line up for migration in a big hall. To be fair they got through fairly reasonably. Then we were packed in a space 1/4 the size to line up for them to X-ray our hand luggage.
