I looked at doing a tour to these towns cosmic am getting lazy but the cheapest I could find was 120€. I did the tour on local bus and share taxi back for about$6. How do These tour companies justify their existence?

The ruins at Volubilis at first look pretty second rate but the more you get into it the better they get. They are no where near as good as the ones in Turkey and there is not much of the fine detail left on them but still worth a look, and only $1 to get in. I decided to walk back to Moulay Idriss, cos it was all down hill so and easy walk and only 5km. It was an easy walk till I got to Moulay. Then it is another town built on the side of a hill and you guessed it all uphill. Of course the taxi stand is right at the top oh the hill. There will be no photos of this stuff. I accidentally deleted them when I was loading them on my iPad. It is a shame cos I think some of them were pretty good and I had some of the countryside.

Last night I went to the local night markets for dinner and some retail therapy. Who knew there is a massive souq at the back of the night market. The prices must be cheap cos the locals were going crazy over some of the stuff. Mostly coats, very cheap plastic toys and shoes. I had dinner at one of the restaurants and got ripped off again. I'm not a fan of restaurants. They gave me my schwarma with chips then charged me and extra 10 for the chips and 10 for service charge. 40D dinner ended up costing 60D.

When I was up north they all spoke Spanish to me and that was OK cos I still remember some of it. Now they are all speaking french to me and I don't understand a word. Why don't they all speak Arabic, I don't understand that either?

At the markets last night they had horses for rides, a bloke had a snake to have ya photo with, someone else had an osterich for rides and a couple of a*******s had 3 monkeys. They were chained up with a chain around their neck and thena*******s kept picking them up by the chain. The monkeys didn't like it and the people just looked like a*******s. Well funny thing, one of the monkeys got loose and went after the ostrich. The monkey jumped on the ostrich and it took off and stampeded through a guys toy shop. The monkey and ostrich guys following. I thought that made my night.

Tomorrow I am on the Marrakech express. Hopefully I can make it to the station by 7.15 to make the early train and get there at a reasonable hour to find accomodation, it is 7hr on the train.
