I found the bus station OK. It helps if you go down the right road. The trip here was very comfortable. The bus was only half full so as soon as we took off half the people moved to the back of the bus, including the Muslim woman sitting next to me. We almost all got a double seat to ourselves.

Agadir is a resort town. It is all about tourism. If it wasn't for the resorts the place wouldn't exist. Some of them are 400-500 British pounds a night, but they get a big discount on a package deal from Europe. The beach is 5 miles long and I walked to whole lot today. At the south end there was a couple of security and when I walked past them they started whistling at me. Of course I ignored them and kept walking. The whistle got more desperate and I ignored it. Then they started yelling at me and I ignored them and kept walking. Soon I had a security guard grabbed my shoulder and pointed a rifle at me. Apparently I can't go any further. I moved the rifle toward the ground and said "steady up Gomer it is a beach" . It turns out that stretch of beach goes past the Royal Palace. I can't go there.

Tonight I went down for dinner. A place advertised happy hour from 4 till 10. Great hour? So I went in and ask for beer. "No beer here" " But its happy hour?" They said it was in the bar not restaurant and showed me to the bar. We walked in and total darkness. It appears the bar opens at 11. Great happy hour! I ended up at a French seafood joint over the road and ordered steak. It was pretty good but the weather was getting cold. The wind blowing off the ocean was a bit chilly and I should have had a long sleeve shirt on.

My legs were killing me yesterday so I took it easy today. Spent the morning on the beach and in the arvo went for a look around town. There is not much to see here. I was on the lookout for phone shop to get new downloader for pics but none here. When I walked along the beach I went the other way today so I don't tangle with Gomer again. Some thing funny on the beach. Muslim women in full Muslim bathers (Nike and Addidas make them) that is wet suit a big black dress over it and veil, they were lying on the beach? I assume they were trying to tan their eye lids? A lot of the hotels have big sections of the beach roped off for their guests or anyone willing to pay a few bucks. You can't go to the beach without a sunlounger and umbrella?

I am heading north tomorrow, not sure where, I need to find grand taxi rank to see where I can get to.
