Well it 's been an emotional few days...

Friday was my last day at work and I was totally overwhelmed by the lovely messages, emails, hugs and number of people who went out of the way to come and say goodbye. I am still not sure that I have processed the fact that I have left.

I am starting to look for my blackberry a little less by now though... I have such a great goodbye messages book from everyone that I can keep reading to remind myself and lots of emails too - all of which I have yet to answer, of course. It has meant that I haven't quite got around to trying my kindle yet. Am v looking forward to that though. It will be a treat for Friday...

Saturday our last wedding of the season (v beautiful and fun P&I) and back to London for our "picnic in the park". Amazingly we had a beautiful day and found a quiet-ish, shaded-ish spot in Green Park, earli-ish (early - I know - me - early!) and then our friends started to arrive.

It was so lovely to see so many lovely people. As predicted we had loads and loads of food and so much fun that we only took one picture. Maybe others have some that they can post or email me to add if that doesn't work.

Chatted to loads of people I hadn't seen in ages, played with a couple of babies, ate loads of yummy food but still feel there is a lot more to say and to lots of people. Hopefully a couple of drinks/chats can still be squeezed in before we go. Even though we will be on the other side of the world, we will be in touch and hopefully a few short emails along with the blog, will still keep channels of communications open.
