Jack London Square Finishing up our trip in California, we headed for the train station in Oakland, just outside of San Francisco. We had a couple of hours to kill, so we went exploring. Wine tasting - what we do best. We have enjoyed a few days in Sonoma in the beautiful spring sunshine, relaxing in the amazing Californian countryside. For once our timing was perfect and we spent the weekend at 'April in Carneros', a cute little wine festival. Twenty vineyards with tastings, food pairings and many of them had music and other stalls. Guess that's how we ended up with almost a kilo of the local manchego. Yum. LZ

A break from high brow culture today. We hit Six Flags theme park. There were loads of crazy rides, minimal queues and glorious sunshine. Fun day. LZ

I am lucky to travel the world with my own designated driver. Cline Cellars had some super yummy zindfandel. I am growing to appreciate this grape. Yummy. LZ

Well we've been on honeymoon for seven months now, so we thought we should probably get married. And we did. It felt right to do it on this trip and at this beautiful location. Celebratory sushi followed, of course. LZ
