It's the 16th Jan, we arrived in Koh Tao yesterday and love it already! It's a small island and a lot less touristy. Its more like a jungle here, much more green and unspoilt. There seems to be more 'backpacker' types here and everything is much cheaper, as we found out last night! We had an orange juice, 2 cocktails, a starter and a main course each all for about £6 each - pretty amazing! We even treated ourselves to some new flip flops for around £3.50 each which we thought was the ultimate bargain! We are chilling and relaxing by the pool today waiting for our friends Michelle and Jamee to arrive later. They are here until the 20th like us so we are all hopefully going to book ourselves a snorkelling day trip which should be fun! Might check out the scuba diving while we are here too as its what Koh Tao is really popular for, it's has amazing coral reefs and loads of bright coloured fish (and the odd shark..eek!)
