It's 28th Jan and we have just had an amazing week in Phi Phi and met some lovely people. We got a flight to Bangkok which was so much easier than a long coach journey. As we are flying to Laos in the morning we decided to stay in a hotel near the airport, which means its literally in the middle of nowhere! So after some yummy sushi for dinner we had a lovely girls night in and pampered ourselves a bit as we have been neglecting ourselves lately clearly too busy having fun (and tattoos! - much to the disgust of our mums!) We both had Thai writing meaning friends and protection on the back of our ankle done with the traditional Thai bamboo! It hurt a bit but was worth it as it doesn't bleed or scab like normal tattoos. So now we are inked up and freshly pampered...ready to take on Laos!
