So it's the 8th Jan and We are in our hotel recovering after the safari today. It was really good! We got picked up in the safari jeep and first stop was the mummified monk and Buddha temple. The monk was a bit weird it has been preserved and is sitting up in a glass cage with the orange robes on! he still had skin and hair and even a pair of ray bans! Next stop was our favourite - the elephants! We got to ride an elephant for about 20 mins, feeding him bananas o...

So it's 7th Jan and we have arrived in Koh Samui, our hotel Chaweng Garden Beach Resort is lovely in fact we have extended our stay from 4 to 7 nights as its so nice here. Today we had our first Thai massage on the beach which was interesting! The Thai ladies are so strong and stretched us and pulled us around and actually stood on us! Afterwards it felt like we had been beaten up - but in a good way! And it was a bargain for £6 deffo having one of those everyda...

So tonight we say bye to Koh Phangan as we head to Koh Samui in the morning. We have had a lovely week of chilling out in between the NYE and half moon madness, we caught some sun and some mozzie bites! We saw the most amazing sunset too right in front of our terrace. Now to get our bags packed up for the next chapter...

It's 5th Jan, we went to the half moon party last night and had a great night! Becky and Ellis came over from Koh Samui to meet us at our hotel then we all went to the fisherman restaurant in Ban Tai for a yummy dinner and a few drinks before heading into the jungle. We got in free as our hotel pays for our entry -result! It's the 4th Jan and we are doing a bit of sunbathing and having a cheeky strawberry daiquiri before we go to the half moon party in Ban Tai tonight. Our friend Becky and her friend are getting a boat over from Koh Samui to come with us. The half moon party is in the middle of the jungle in Ban Tai which probably means we will turn into animals!BRING ON THE BUCKETS!!
