It's the 6th May and we are in Queenstown. On the way we stopped off at puzzle world and saw some crazy stuff - holograms and a tilted room where water looks like it runs uphill! We also got a bit lost in the maze. Queenstown is really pretty and we are staying in a hotel high up on the hill with a great view of the mountains. It's really cold here and we woke up this morning and there was snow at the top of the mountains.
We went up on the gondola to the skyline restaurant on our first night with out whole group which was nice. we then went for some drinks in town after to cowboys and world bar. Yesterday morning went on the shot over jet boat which was an experience! We went racing round on the river so fast and got soaked by the rain and the water and the guy driving was spinning the boat round whilst we were all screaming... Definitely woke us up!
Afterwards we stopped off at Arrowtown which is an old mining town and looks a bit like a cowboy style village. We then went to Queenstowns city centre and wandered around the shops and went to Fergburger which is famous for its legendary burgers.
Today, while most of our group are on a day trip we are having a film and pamper day and have actually straightened our hair!!
Tonight we are going to the ice bar which should be good, and then hopefully I am doing my skydive in the morning as long as the weather is ok... Fingers crossed!
