After breakfast this morning we piled into Louises car and she drove us to Toowoomba which is about an hour west of here. It is a town high up on the Great Divide Mountains. We stopped first at a lookout point called picnic point wher you could see for miles looking east towards Brisbane. There was also this signboard just to remind me of how far away it is to home and the long flights ahead.

After a coffee we went into Queens Park which was a riot of colour with beautiful flowers and a collection of spectacular old trees All very different from the Oak Ash and Sycamore in the Uk.

We then visited a large Mall which was quite nice for a change as we have not seen much retail over the last three weeks preferring to see the countryside instead.

Throughout all this Elliot was a star, he kicked and gurgled and smiled all day even though he was bundled in and out of the car and his buggy.

This evening we ate at the local pub, by local I guess it was about 6 miles away
