A wonderful visit to Angkor National Park. Several Wat's visited and we visit Angkor Wat itself tomorrow at 5am for the sunrise. Ruth was in buying mode again last night with two more Addidas Knock offs. How the hell we get all this home I don't know. I will let the pictures do the talking..... After a long journey on a very rough road we have arrived at Siem Reap. THE JOURNEY WAS VERY VERY BUMPY, IM NOT QUITE SURE WHY THEY BOTHERED WITH THE RUMBLE STRIPS AS THEY WERE BY FAR THE SMOOTHEST BITS. We have stocked up with beer and tonic, taken the Landry out and are now going for a swim. What to say about yesterday and our visit to the Killing Fields. Grim. Great day back on the Mekong visiting islands and being rowed along narrow tributaries. Horse and cart ride to a restaurant for lunch. Looking at local honey making and petting Hissing Sid a six year old Python. He eats one chicken a week. Feathers and all AND ONE TOURIST A YEAR. Fortunately he had been fed three days ago.
