I was up around 7 this morning to go do my skydive!!

Was so glad that Beth was doing it with me, meant I didn't freak out half as much! Owen wasn't doing it but came with us for moral support haha. It was pretty scary sitting in the office watching all the videos of people doing it, and I was really glad Beth had thought to bring sweets and chocolate and stuff to keep us going! We got a bit of a talk about what to do (basically just enjoy it!), and put on the harness. Then we (along with about 4 other people) got a bus to the plane! We weren't too bad on the bus, tried to have a normal conversation and avoid freaking out too much...but as soon as we saw the tiny plane everyone's faces just dropped!! It was so scary haha. Once we were on the plane I properly started to get worried, had to try and convince myself it wasn't actually happening! We got to 2000ft and I was sure that we were seriously high...couldn't believe how much further we had to go! At 7000ft (halfway) I couldn't actually imagine getting any higher! Finally it was time to go and I was terrified!!! The door was opened and the first girl jumped. I was second...couldn't actually believe what I was doing! When I put my legs outside the plane and felt the wind I freaked out, but didn;t have very long to think about it because the guy attached to me just jumped, no warning or anything which was probably for the best haha!

It was absolutely crazy, but amazing!! We fell 10,000ft in the first 60seconds, and then the parachute went up and we took our time gliding down. It was unbelievable, the views were absolutely amazing, I could see the rainforest meeting the gorgeous beaches and the reef, and it was just incredible!! We landed on one of the most gorgeous beaches I've seen! It really was amazing, so glad I did it! So glad I got the DVD too, it is a bit hilarious!

My body was totally freaked out afterwards, on such a high but my heart didn't stop beating fast for hours, and I was shaking majorly. Had a big breakfast and coke to try and get a bit better but it didn't do much good haha! Spent the rest of the day at the beach chilling out, it was amazing, wasn't even anyone else on the beach, just the 3 of us! Such a good day. Just a pity we couldn't swim because it's stinger season!

Beth and Owen were heading south that afternoon, so I went back with them and chilled at the pool for a bit, then it started to rain, so I chatted to some people in the hostel about bungee jumping (seriously don't think I have the guts for THAT!) and then went to use the internet again. After dinner I read my book for a bit then had an earlyish night (after a minor drama with bugs in the room/beds...was not very impressed with my room in that hostel!!).
