Jacky and I attempted to go snorkelling today because Beth and Owen had told us it was amazing and you can see loads of sharks and turtles and stuff! We had free snorkel hire from the hostel but had to pay for stinger suits which was a bit rubbish, but not too expensive! We caught the bus and trekked through the wilderness a bit to a place called Arthur Bay, which was a gorgeous, empty beach...we were a little bit worried we might find a crocodile on the way thou...

Got up fairly early this morning, had to check out of the hostel by 9.30 which was pretty harsh but oh well. It was Australia Day which is a big holiday over here (funnily enough, haha!) but we didn't really have anything overly exciting planned to celebrate!
