UNITED KINGDOM - DAY 14
We slept in this morning and after breakfast we headed towards Trafalgar Square to collect out London Passes.
We headed down into the underground and boarded the tube to London Bridge. Once there we made our way to the London Tombs an awesome attraction that is both educational and scary at the same time. The girls opted for a guardian angel and we moved through the attraction with most of the scary things turned off. The girls still got quite a few scares and it was the best attraction we have been to for a long time. It took about 15 minutes to make our way through the tunnels and maze of the underground. Once we got the the end, they were going to allow Pasqual and I to do the final section again to experience the complete package (all the thrills), however the girls got extremely restless so we chose to move on.
We wandered along Southbank heading towards Shakespeare's Globe. When we got there, there were people everywhere. When we asked about it, we were told that it was a free day today and everyone was welcome to enter, however there would be an extremely long wait. As we walked towards the end of the queue, we realised that today was Shakespeare's birthday, hence the crowds etc. We decided not to go in and leave it for another day. We changed our plans and continued our stroll towards the London Eye.
We boarded the Eye and slowly made our way towards the top. The view was amazing and we got a great view of London. The girls enjoyed the London Eye. It was getting late and the wind was picking up after a beautiful spring day so we called it quits and headed by tube back to the hotel.
