Monday Due to the time and weather when we arrived last night we hadn't yet seen Eliot or Twin Falls so we were up early,breakfasted and packed up by 8am. We drove over to the day area to have a look at the falls. The Ducks were dressed ready for a swim but as it was still raining Martin and I decided just to have a look. Sunday We decided to leave around 8am so a quick pack up, toast for breakfast and we are on our way just a bit before 8am. It's a grey and overcast day with a smattering a of rain. Saturday Martin and I had another talk this morning and I think he finally gets it. There is no way I can stand knee deep (let alone waist deep) in creek and river crossings up here. Friday Second day in Weipa today so a chance to sleep in. It's a 30° forecast so I think the pool will get a workout today. Thursday There was a light sprinkle of rain last night and it's still grey and overcast this morning. The forecast is for rain in Weipa. We pack up and leave around the usual time - 9am.
