Friday We enjoyed a delicious breakfast - I had pancakes with maple syrup and ice cream while the rest had a "big brekky" at the restaurant in the campground. We travelled down the development road, across the Jardine River on the ferry and back to the falls. That last crossing before the falls seems a bit deeper this time as it was over the bonnet. Thursday Today is a bit of a rest day so we spend it still trying to dry the cars, doing more washing and packing away anything that is dry ready for tomorrow. We have a discussion about our plans and decide to forgo Vrilya Point and Captain Billy's Landing based on the stories from other travellers. Wednesday Up early this morning as we have to be at the dock in Seisia by 7.45am. We get on the ferry and sit out the front. Beautiful trip over as the grey skies cleared the closer we got to the he islands. Leaving the ferry we board a bus for the TI tour. Sue, the bus driver is very informative explaining the history of the island. We went up to Green Hill where we looked at the remains of the fort. Tuesday The weather is a bit better today, overcast but not raining. We have breakfast and tidy up then head up to the tip. The road goes through some really beautiful rainforest and just before we get to the parking. Lot we pass the abandoned resort. Parking the car we gather all our gear - water bottle, back packs, sunscreen and hats and head for the climb over the rocks. The tide is coming in so we can't go via the beach.
