Wednesday We packed up and left at around 9am heading for Musgrave Roadhouse. Through some creek crossings although there wasn't much water. Mudduck saw a croc at Hann crossing but we missed it. Tuesday We left Elim Beach at about 7.45am cause apple maps is saying today's trip will take about 6 hours. Monday After waiting for The Ducks canvas to dry a bit we left Lions Den and headed for Cooktown. The first stop was Black Mountain lookout along the road to Cooktown and then Grassy Nob lookout right in Cooktown. Sunday We set off around 8.30 stopping briefly for photos. We travel from Cairns to Daintree stopping for hot chocolate and pancakes (Martin had a burger) for breakfast. Saturday Some grocery and meat shopping today in preparation for the Cape. Tony and Barb Vaughan stopped by to visit and catch up giving us plenty of information about The Cape. The Ducks arrive in the afternoon and set up while Jo and Steve come and join us.
