Saturday Up early this morning to do some more washing before we leave tomorrow then a light breakfast before we hit the markets. Friday Today we are going to Silverton about 30kms west of Broken Hill. This town is famous for the movies that have been shot here - Mad Max 2, A Town Like Alice, Reckless Kelly. The Silverton Hotel has also been the backdrop for a number of ads on TV. The town is very arty with a number of museums. Thursday Martin checked out the laundry last night and there are only 2 washing machines (and one is out of order) so I made sure everything was ready to go this morning. Wednesday The wind had died down while we were at the bar but once back in the van it picked up again. We hadn't put the legs down as we were still hitched to the Patrol so we rocked all night. Having been packed and ready to go for a few days we got up this morning, had breakfast and got ready to leave. Hugged and kissed the girls goodbye and took a few photos. I tried to find the cats to say goodbye but they would have nothing to do with me. We had a really good drive lunching at Gunnedah and then on to Moree for the night.
