Successfully crossed the boarder, which involved a very short boat trip, and I am now in Houayxai Laos!!
Houayxai is another no mans land town, with not a lot to do!
Stopping here (at B.A.P guesthouse) to do the Gibbon Experience!

Got my first 1,000,000 out the bank today (just a shame it is in kip!). Feel so rich...I am a millionaire (in Laos)!!!

Lazy day, not much to do in this town!
Went to a women empowerment project house for this evening. It's a business run by a Dutch and Thai couple, who help the mountain people when they go to hospital. They provide a place to stay, buy rice off them, and teach them English and craft skills. Volunteers can help with the project too. Got to eat with the family, and learn more about Laos culture and lifestyle. It was fun, and felt involved with the locals.
