Continued travelling south down Laos to Vientiane, the capital of Laos! Took 5 hours in a "VIP" bus (a coach), and although again scenic, was a bumpy old ride!!

Vientiane is the capital of Laos. It's an odd city, it doesn't feel like a capital. There are lots of main streets with big worldwide stores like Toshiba, Land Rover and Fuji Film, and it seems quite European with the buildings!

Staying in a sketchy dorm (private to just our group), called Asia World, not the best!

Took a look at the night market here, but it was disappointing! There was only a few food stores which did not look appetising! Although they had a little fun fair for children!!
Surprisingly there isn't a lot of people here. Pass a few people eating in a restaurant, but generally seems quite and eery!
