The girls were up early & gone by the time we were up. As the options were slim & the food was so good at the place last night, we headed back there for breakfast & to use their wifi! After check out, we caught a taxi to the bus stop only to find there was no bus until 3pm. This wasn't any good, as we needed to be in San Pedro Sula before 5pm to pick up my extra tablets (for our extended trip) that my parents had FedEx'd out to me. Luckily there was a local (chicken) bus leaving just down the road, which we managed to catch & got us into SPS at 2:15pm. Now SPS is not meant to be the nicest of places, so we wanted to head out straight away. However the buses to our next stop, Copan Ruinas, left at 3pm & then 7pm. One VERY quick taxi to FedEx & another one back, got us into the bus depot at 2:59pm, in time for the 3pm bus. Woo hoo! This bus to Copan though seemed to take forever. I thought it was only 2 hours, so when 3 hours & then 4 hours passed by & we went through what we thought was Copan, we started to worry slightly. But thankfully Copan was just round the corner, where we arrived at about 7:30pm. We grabbed a tuktuk through the cobbled streets to our 1st choice of hostel, but it was full, leaving us our 2nd choice (ViaVia), where we luckily nabbed a room they'd just released. Their restaurant was packed, so we got food there & when it arrived, we realised why. Huge, delicious, well presented & cheap! My 'completo' could've probably fed 3! Out of the blue, the girls turned up, so we had a drink with them, but as we were all knackered, we called it a night quite early. However, the place next to us, decided to entertain us by playing blaring music until 1am, leaving us little choice, but to watch tv (finish '24').
