We tried to sneakily use the wifi of the local restaurants, (for me to call one of my 'God children' on her birthday (Eve)), but failed miserably! We did find an internet cafe on the way back to our place to checkout, but couldn't use Skype there either. So just printed out all the crap paperwork that we needed to. It seems that even though we're in the digital age (& the other side of the world!), multiple companies in the UK will only accept signed original copies of the forms they require rather than accepting a PDF version! Marvellous! Most of them can't even send you the necessary forms via email, so Rach's Mum has kindly scanned them & sent them to us. After our chores we caught the bus (at the last minute) to Tegucigalpa. We're definitely on Caribbean time here, as the '3' hour bus journey was actually 4.5hours. We didn't really want to stay here, but there were no more buses out to La Ceiba today, so we picked the Lonely Planet's cheapest hotel option in the best area (although the whole place is dodgy & a bit of a sh1t-hole) & headed there. We chilled for a bit & then headed out into the shop-free streets to find something to eat. The only place we found, was a chicken take-away place. So we utilised their services & went back for our slap-up meal!
