A 7:00am start was a bit of a killer after our previous night, but as we had another uncomfortable minibus journey leaving at 8am to take us to Flores, we didn't have any option. Rach struggled for the first 1.5 hours & jumped out at the first opportunity to nurse her hangover & grab a seat in the front. With a stop at McDs for breakfast & another stop for our old favourite, ham & cheese sarnies for lunch, meant the journey took us 10 hours, with minimal sleep on the way. Rach chatted to Victor on the way, while I conversed with a poshish London couple. When we finally arrived, we all checked out the different hotels on Flores & eventually picked Doña Goya 2 for £14 a night with a view over the lake. Unsurprisingly we were absolutely knackered so literally popped across the road for some dinner. It wasn't the best choice though, as we pretty much had to get our own drinks & had the slowest service ever. If the guy had had another braincell, he'd have been dangerous. That finished us off & we went & crashed out.
