Breakfast back at D'Noz was spent continuing trying to decide when & where to go next. However when we made some enquiries, it seemed that our options were pretty bloody limited in that we'd have to return to Antigua to get anywhere! Having already spent 3 days there, it was a bit of a pain, but we didn't have much option. So our choice was either head back at 1pm today, or leave on a 10-12 hour journey to Coban at 8am tomorrow. We finally decided to regretfully leave today & got our tickets. I say regretfully, as this place has the most relaxed atmosphere & given more time, I think we could've definitely spent a good few days here. After some shopping & fun bartering (much to Rach's annoyance), we caught our bumpy shuttle out of town. Apart from the half hour traffic jam up the hill, (due to a chicken bus running out of petrol!) & the bouncing around, the journey was OK & spent chatting to 4 English university graduates. 6 hours later we were back in Antigua & checked into The Black Cat Inn (with the 4 English guys & girls). We needed to book a shuttle to Coban for tomorrow, so wandered around the travel agencies trying to find the best deal. We finally decided on a 3-day 2-night trip to Lanquin & Semuc Champey, which were the places we were going to go to from Coban. A beer or two in the Irish bar & a pizza in the local Italian (whilst Antigua's weather did it's usual trick in the evening of raining heavily) & then back for an early night.
