There wasnt a lot in Savanakhet... Just a little place with very few restaurants and guesthouses

There was a Dinosaur Museum though! Citing !!! It was just one room and was all in French.(i KNEW i should have paid attention more in French class at school, but i had no chance, sitting next to Dominic.... hehe)

Oh and did you know that "Dinosaurs disappeard from Laos or earth over 100years ago" ?????The leaflets were very informative!!!!

I felt unsafe in our room and dreamed that we were being broken into...

I think its because of the way the hotel was set out; the building we were in was outside and our room was on the ground floor.So anyone walking past the hotel could easily get in...our door was locked but we didnt have a chain like most places weve stayed...and our windows werent very safe either...the bolts were dodgy and the window was on the street where people were walking past...(i sound paranoid!!haha)

HOWEVER.....the 2nd night we were there , we went back to our room on the evening (maybe 10/11oclock) and someone was pushing on our handle !!! Dom got up to look outside and there wasnt anyone there!!! The next day, Joris told us that he had his wash bag (of all things!!) stolen from his room through the window (why they had their window open when they were on the ground floor we'll never know)

We also saw two Laos girls fighting on the street!! Hair pulling, scratching, the works !!! Bit like being at back in town in Hull really (hehe)

So the next day we decided to leave.....
