An action packed day...

We left the Glampervan in Christchurch and caught and Air NZ flight down to Queenstown, which is a great place!

We're staying in a fab appt with views over the lake and for the next two nights sleeping in a real bed!!!!!

We dumped the bags and headed into town by bus, first stop = FERGBURGER, check out the website (http://www.fergburger.com/fullscreen.html) and the Big AL, no I did not before you ask. A regular with cheese was enough for me.

We then went up in the cable car, which affords amazing views over the lakes, mountains and town, and is packed with people, parascending, mountain biking, bungy jumping and the luge - which was what I did, onec alone, and once with Jess (see pic). GREAT GREAT fun.

There were some serious montain bikers in action here, replete with full stormtrooper type armour! (Wayne - you'd love it here, check out http://www.skyline.co.nz/queenstown/MTB/)

Queenstown is a fab place, can't wait to see more tomorrow, but first we're off to Milford Sound.
