We are now starting to make our way back to Auckland to fly to Australia. We are currently sitting in the queue at the ferry terminal. I am watching Stuart Little, Daddy is reading the newspaper on his ipad and Mummy is updating you all on my behalf. Y'day we left Kaikoura, via route 1 which hugs the coast and provided some excellent photos. Daddy found a place where seals were lying in the shore soaking up the sun following a very windy and wild night. It was so windy the glampervan shook and Mummy says she heard every rain drop that fell on the roof of the van. Not a good nights sleep for all. Last night we stayed in Picton which is 5 minute drive to the ferry terminal. The ferry is now late by an hour which is a bit of a nuisance as we have a long journey once we arrive on the north island, some 200 kilometers. The weather is due to become very wet and windy so lets hope Daddy drives quick enough that we stay ahead of the bad weather.
I am pleased to say we've managed to have photograph of all three of us!
