All's good here . We are starting to make our way south with a relatively short journey today. We started at not just 1 cellar door but 2... Villa Maria and Cloudy Bay and yes you've guessed, Daddy tried more wines and Mummy was the designated driver. We had lunch at Cloudy Bay and I tried to play croquet, without much luck... On our way to our campsite both Daddy and me fell asleep. Daddy said he'd eaten alot although I'm not sure that was the case.... Off ...

After Villa Maria we had a lovely lunch outside in the gardens at Cloudy Bay, along with another few wines (6) including Te Koko, Pelorus (vintage) and the late harvested Reisling which was fab. Another couple of bottles secured, a bit of a nap in the afternoon as Jayne drove us to Kaikoira. This is the life - I could get well used to this. A

Spent a very relaxing morning sampling a few (7) wines at Villa Maria in Marlborough. Yes it was only 10.30 but it was practically midnight back home so that's ok. Some great wines and very helpful people - another couple of bottles acquired, thankfully I now know how to get them shipped home save me carrying them. A

Daddy enjoyed his concert and said the group were good. We collected him from the airport which all worked rather well and Mummy did well negotiating the traffic in downtown Wellington. We then made our way to the interisland ferry which took us from Wellington to Picton which was my first experience on a ferry. I managed to run around alot and also watched some films in the childrens area. Daddy was reading his ipad and Mummy was trying to get to sleep - no s...

So, while the girls and Gaston CamperVan stay behind - I return to Auckland via a quick flight and head into town to (outskirts really) to find my hotel and the venue - both of which were accomplished quite easily thanks to a) Auckland having a good transport system and b) being quite small. With a few hours to kill I ended up where else but in a a pub! Specifically the splendidly named Galbraith's Alehouse where the beer was superb (as were the pies. Quite bizz...
