Arrived in Istanbul on a hot steamy morning. A city of 16 million people I think most of them had come into the city for the day, it was very crowded walking along the streets so we headed to the Bosphorous where there was a welcome cool breeze coming off the water. There are so many mosques and museums it is hard to knows which one yo visit. When we visited the Grand bazaar Dave was worried about not finding his way out again I loved it. Will go back without him. My highlight so far was a trip out to the Walls of Constantinople built around the city in the 4th and 5th century. We met the other people from the tour when we went to a dinner. At Hamdi Restaurant they served us samples of Turkish food which was all delicious but served with three different types of bread!!
