Had a bit of a rest homely day today. Girls did some painting and I made cookies. We also got together with our beautiful neighbors and had a bit of a party which was great. Have to say one of the best nights ever camping. Also had another couple arrive from Canberra with 3 teenage kids and they joined in also. We went for a drive to the next town, Franklin and had lunch at a local cafe by the river. We finally tried abolone and well not sure what the fuss is. I enjoyed my fish n scallop homemade pie better! On return to camp we had neighbors, Lorraine and Les Wilson from Timboon, Victoria. They came over with us and did our farmly duties with Rowan.

We are staying in the huon valley at a working farm/caravan park. Leanne and Rowan the owners were traveling around the country similar to what we are doing. When they arrived in the huon valley they never left! They bought 27acres near the town of Huonville and built amenities and fences, planted fruit trees & bought animals.
