We travelled from myrtle park to st Helen's today and what a drive it was! The scenery was spectacular windy roads through lush wilderness then all of a sudden arriving in a quaint little town out of nowhere it was just magic. I want to stay here forever! One of the towns we drove into was Scottsdale and that place would have to be my favorite place so far! Surrounded by beautiful hills one side and views of the bass strait on the other absolute magic! Back in the 1930's some government dignitaries visited the town and noted how at harmony the town was and with no police or any government there! That sense of community spirit is still there today. We know this as there was a local man letting everyone know that they shouldn't be buying bread from woolworths when there's a locally owned bakery in town! I like it!
