Sunday: Went back to Panajachel in the morning. I walked around the town and was stunned by the tourism! There were only shops and pubs here...According to LP this is one of the oldest tourist spots in Guatemala. The hippies settled down here in the 60's and the town still have some of that hippie-feeling...Apparently San Pedro(another village by the lake) hosts the hippie-scene today and you can easily spot indigenous people raving around... Oh, other people...

Friday: Arrived in Panajachel. The weather was ok and we saw the fantastic view while climbing down! Got a boat over to Santa Cruz and chequed in at Iguana. Got myself a fantastic caba?. Strolled up the hill to the village of Santa Cruz. Was accompanied by this huge dog that scared all the locals. The old ladies crossed the street and the children stared at him!The view from up there was amazing... Went down and strolled by the lake...It was so quiet and peaceful...

Wednesday 21: Left Nebaj, even though I think the people on the bus station didn't want me to...I waited for hours and then someone came and asked me if I wanted a collectivo to Quiche! We were 18 people in the car and three men were standing inside (explains how small the guatepeople are!) I actaually wanted to go to Huehue but I ended up taking various chickenbusses towards Quetzaltenango (Xela). I think we came to the bus station (1000 busses) and it start...
