Found this really cute hostel here in Ipanema! I love it and I wish I had more time here!! When I arrived from Foz I went out with the people to a samba night and I've never seen people danse like that in my life! Wild legs is all I can say...

On Sunday I had some hours to kill before the football game. Went to look at the hippie fair at ipanema and did some shopping. On the way to Maracana Stadium I met to Scottish blokes and one of them were a walking encyclopedia when it came to football! As you all know I'm not but I really enjoyed the game! It was Flamengo vs Sao Paulo and we were sat in the middle of all the Flamengo supporters. Sambadrums, huge flags and all the people were singing and dansing throughout the game! The most exciting thing that happened was when two Flamengio supporters started fighting and the whole crowd panicked and started running! Since I was sat with to hardcore scottish football fans, they reacted immediately!

On Monday I went to Rochina, the largest favela (shantytown) in the world! We took a mototaxi up to the top and I loved it! They drove like crazy and I swear that I thought we were gonna crash and die every 2 meters! We strolled down through the streets and it was amazing to see! I've never been to a place like this and it was so interesting... It reminded me of the movie Cidade de Deus (City of God) or maybe not. I thought it was going to be more action but luckily Rochina is peacefull place, as long as you do what the drugdealers say...
