...Farewell Cairns. Aboriginal Art. Peter Lik Gallery...
I had a very Cinderella moment and left Cairns just after midnight to start my journey down the East Coast. Its quite exciting to be moving on although I have got used to Cairns being a bit of a base for me now and I've met some pretty cool people here.
The last few days I've just been chilling out and sorting my stuff out for the next part of my travels. Managed to catch up with Helen this week and been spending a lot of time with Chloe (pictured) who I've been sharing a dorm with. She's a wicked girl and we've been spending lots of time chatting, going for freebie dinners at Rhinos, seeing some of the attractions of Cairns and going out on the lash.
Places that we've visited include the Aboriginal Art shop that I still think is spectaular with tons of energy in the pieces and the Peter Lik art gallery. The Peter Lik art gallery is superb, the colours, compositions and overall style is fantastic.
