Did not get to meet a black bear, slightly disappointed as would have made a great story (had Swiss army knife ready...).
Up early(a record on road 7 am) and off down a steep rocky track from my wild camp site.
Some again amazing roads - very busy though with bikes and cars.
Summary of today would be mixed - emotions - read on internet that many Italians and visitors believe that motorcyclists and fast car drivers of which there are many, have ruined the Dolomites and the wilderness experience. The Dolomites have a honey pot attraction to every rev head in Europe (could blame Clarkson).
My only consolation with my quandary is that I am driving slowly and carefully in villages, many do not. Had several cars and bikes overtake me as I slowed down to stop at pedestrian crossings. Had a couple of moments where cars and bikes came around blind bends on my side of the road.
Got some nice high def video today of the twisty roads, some looking backwards.
In Bormio, a Hotel in main street and it's like a race track outside...
Am I adding to the angst and situation or not that's the question...?
