Woke at 7 am the mist was rising over the lake and the snow topped peaks in the Alps were simply magnificent, I hope my pictures come out. I went to get my camera and while I had some tech to sort just marvelled at the snow topped 4000 metre peaks. The Alps dominated all of the vistas today and the riding from the start. Leaving yet another amazing camp site the Alps dominated and could be seen from every angle.
The Alpine region area contains about a hundred peaks higher than 4,000 metres (13,000 ft).
Starting the day packing slowly remembering Richards wise words...
I was invited over by my Dutch neighbours for a coffee which ended up being an extended breakfast and chat. It seemed my bike drew lots of attention in this camp site and was a conversation starter.
The Dutch family were in a three week vacation and Burt was a great guy and asked lots of questions regarding my trip. We had breakfast with his wife Elly and Kelly his daughter. This slowed my start but hey it’s a holiday not a race, remember those wise words.
Transport stage got lost in Vercelli going wring direction on trail but boy it was fun.
Through centre of Vercelli to get back on route. Signs of omnipotent wealth were everywhere. However
More closed factories and for sale signs benigned its former status.
2.30 lunch in a local town in the shade. Another rider rode in...
A German rider on a Rally Spec Cajiva Elephant we decided to ride together.
It was nice riding together and we probably ride trails that we would have not had w been on our own.
We got separated trying to avoid a hard section in the notes. After backtracking I could not find him so kept going on my own. Eventually stopping in a town Googling camp site and hotel, this B&B one was 100 n away !
Struggling to find descriptive words to describe the trails today - all rideable on a big bike ...
