Left Wellington early morning and arrived in Taupo at lunch time, checked into Hostel and then rung Liesel..my bessie from UK..her and her boyf been travelling around the world, left similar time to me and we are meeting up here!!!! She picked me up and then we went to her hostel to watch all our skydiving dvds!!! Then we wandered into town had a drink and meal...an amazing thai meal, my first proper meal in ages, was grogeous and could only just finish it, how worrying!!!! The next day we visited the Hukka Falls and the craters of the moon.....Hukka falls were a little disapointing as we were looking around for this mighty waterfall we realised it was just in front of us!!! The craters were amazing and very smelly!!!! smoke everywhere and boiling mud...glad they didnt erupt while we were there!!! Then we went for lunch a massive pizza, was sooooo good! Then to visit the Lake Taupo, which is huge, you would mistake it for the ocean! Great to spend time with liesel and was sad to leave her as i mived on to smelly Roturua!! Also some updates on my dippy doings.....i found the keys to the padlocks i had cut off....i have a hole in the inside pocket of my bag and they had fallen into the lining, doh!!!!!
