Only an hour to Rotorua from Taupo, was sad to leave Liesel, got to Rotorua and walked in the rain to my hostel..the funky green voyager was its name! Very environmentally friendly! Got chatting to roomy immediately, love it when that happens! We both wanted to go to the spa tomorrow so planned to go together! In the am i wandered round town, quite small! The met Heather and in her car..what a luxury we went to the spa! Gorgeous and hot is all i can say and oh as the whole town is a bit smelly from all the sulphur!! Very wierd being in swimmers in the cold temp but pools were very relaxing! We then had lunch at the cafe there...such a lovely daya nd good to have company! Heather dropped me at the coach station later that day as it was raining again!!! Went to Auckland that evening just for a stop over and off to Paihia the next day!!!
